Another Busy week!
yeah the week started off well on Tuesday, we taught an impromptu 2
hour English class, which went well, and we followed that with 6
lessons. Wednesday we had district meeting led by former AP Elder Pratt,
so it was really good as well. Thursday and Friday
went well, but on Saturday we had 5 out of 6 lessons fall through. Oh
well. Sunday I gave a 10 minute talk in church (no, not in English), I
was not very nervous for it, which was the most surprising part. Yeah
but Elder Russon and that marvelous Brain of his
has been helping us prioritize and consolidate the mass amounts of
people me and Elder Chun acquired. So this transfer has felt sort of
like phase 2 so far.
For a spiritual thought I'd like to use an investigator as an
example. He's 14, can't read. But he loves lessoning with us, and he is
not ashamed to feel the spirit. He has never been to church before, but
when we invited him, he felt the spirit and has
been coming ever since. Contrary to our expectations, he struggled as
hard as he could to read Ana Boki Moomon. He says he doesn't remember
what it said, but he said that he remembers that it touched him. To me
this signifies that God understands each of us
and our abilities, and if we give him our effort, he will accept it and
bless us, despite our natural talents.
